Hi Everybody,

I know that I haven't been on the forum very much lately and I am sorry.

But I have finally found a job and I really need to work.  I am sad to say that I wont be on the forum very much.  And I am really going to miss all of you.

Kitt has been doing a wonderful job in my absence.  And I know that she will continue to do good work.  She is a wonderful lady.

So please keep happy thoughts and continue to stay in the moment as we often tell you.  It really is a relief not to dwell on the past and worry about the future. 

I will be on as much as I can, but I don't think that will be very much.  But know I think of all of you often.

Be happy my friends, and keep posting here, as I feel this is a wonderful supportive place to visit.

My thoughts are with all of you.  Wish me luck that I can work.  I do have fibromyalgia and it makes it hard for me to do a lot of things.

Dear Karen, Congratulations on finding a job.  That is wonderful news.  I will really miss hearing from you on the forum but hope you will post when you can.  You have been a tremendous source of support to me over time and I very much appreciate all you have done for me.  You have made it possible for me to get through some very rough times.  Good luck and hope we will hear from you occasionally.

You have been a wonderful source of encouragement to me many times. You are one wonderful person. And I am so glad that I have gotten to know you.

Dear Karen,

Congratulations and I know there is an employer out there that just got very lucky to have such a wonderful and compassionate person as you accept a position with them.

I am so proud of you and I knew you would land the right one at the right time.

You are the heart of this forum so I know you will be popping in when you can but I also know we all have to take care of ourselves first so know I wish you peace and  you always have my undying support.

What are friends for if not to be here for each other through the good and the bad and now you have good going on............hurrah.

Go Karen go! congradulations I'm so happy and proud of you, you were there for me when I needed support I will never forget that, I hope you can adjust to the new job and be able to be there your family too, good luck. you will be mised here, and I understand that you have to give priority to your family and your job, you are doing the right thing, keep it up, and don't forget we care about you, and you have our support!

I'm so happy for you!!! I hope things go well with the new job, and I hope your health allows you to do what you need to do! Like Kitt said, your employer is so lucky to have you. I'm sure you will be an asset to them!

Thank all of you!!!

You make me feel so special. Just knowing you are all behind me lets me know that I can do it. I am a little anxious about it. They gave me a video tape to watch about selling alcohol in the store. I couldn't play it. My vcr tried to eat it actually. So I never got to watch it. I will be having a test on it on Sunday. So this might put things back a few days until they get something for me to watch or read. Oh well, this could only happen to me anyway.lol...

Karen,

Do you have a friend with a VCR that you could use to view the tape?  Just a thought.  I have a feeling they will not hold it against you for having a problem with a VCR tape..............perhaps they should transfer this info to DVD or CD   :-) .  You are going to do wonderful and I too am so very proud of you.

You did not let your  illnesses hold you back and please remember it is ok to take care of you first and we are all right here to support you.

Do not be shy about asking for our support and advice as you start this new journey.  Happy Trails my friend.

I went on the internet, and tried to find 'techniques of alcohol management'. I found it but because I haven't been able to download adobe flash player I couldn't watch it. I can't believe my luck. The manager has notes though that I can look at for the test. Maybe that will help me. Just my luck you guys. These things seem to always happen to me. But I will get through it with your support, I just know it.

I passed the test and got the job. I will be starting Tues or Wednesday. Yes!!!!!!!!!
