Let's try this again.

I didn't have the book in front of me when I typed it the first time, so I probably did miss something.
There are things that you can talk about. For example, you could say that you were sexually abused by so and so. But not go into any details about it. You can say that I did self harm yesterday, but you can't mention what type. It is such a fine line about this, and we do have children as young as 13 on the forum. Though I am glad that they have a place to come, I wish the age limit was 18 so that we could go into more detail because some people just need to talk about it. So if you ever need to, feel free to email me and we can talk. My address is in my profile if you ever feel the need. And then most that would probably happen is I would edit your post to take out certain words if you did accidently break any rules. I would try not to butcher it so that the members could still understand it. Without saying certain words. Suicide is truly a no no. Though there are people that mention it, you can't discuss it. If you are feeling suicidal though, I would give you sites and numbers to call. Though you do not sound suicidal. I hope that this helps you to distinguish what it is you are able to say. It is such a fine line that it is hard to determine what is allowable and what is not. But like I said, I would edit, or another mod would. You wont get kicked off or anything, unless you continued to do that, though it doesn't sound like you would. Physical and mental abuse is okay to talk about. I think. A lot of us were mentally abused and that is just as bad as any other, just no bruises, except to the soul. and the mind.
So tell us your story and we will see how things go. Try to remember that we are here to help you. And weekends are kind of slow, you get more responses during the week, though there are a few of us who are still here. And we would be more than happy to try to direct you to help. Just talking about things often helps.
Take care, keep posting.
Hugs, Karen
