Hey I know it has been a long time since I was on last.

2011 didnt start of that great for me I had a friend who was only 16 years old and he was invloed with a swimming acciedent and was in hospital for not quite a week on a ventolator.

On the 4th of January they turned the ventolator off and he died on that day..

After that I found it hard as I knew him from when he was at a young age..

I am getting there.

But I just have to take it one step at a time

Sarah,

Please accept my deepest sympathy not only for the untimely death of your friend but also the tragic circumstances surrounding his death.

I know this  is truly a time of sorrow for you so let yourself feel the loss and know we are here to support you.

You are right Sarah, one step at a time. There are no time limits on grief, so be patient with yourself. I also would like to offer my condolences. I am truly sorry for your loss.

Im so sorry about the death of your friend. Hope your coping ok. Keep talking with us. Its good to let emotions out :) Keep strong ok. Here for you, as we all are.

I am like really tired today. And I feel like crawling into a small space and hiding...

Last night I had thoughts of why me??

I have finished work and now I am filling in time before I go to dancing..

I know dancing will be good for me..

Hi Sarah,

I try to always remember, it's darkest before the dawn. When things become bleak, out of nowhere things finally shift and something gets better and we know it was all worth while.

It can so often seem like it is never going to get better, but it does. Things have been especially hard for me lately too. I keep looking for that silver lining in the clouds. Never give up. I am not going to either.

I am so happy that you are seeing her/him today. I was assuming it was a woman and realized that I could be wrong. I really do help that this helps you. You are trying and that will help you to make progress. Keep up the good work. And it is work.

Hey Karen.. Yes it was a woman her name is Caroline, she is like a 2nd mum to me..

We had a good talk and it did help a bit which was a good thing I guess.

We were talking about things like God lets us go through stuff because if we didnt learn new things then life would be boring..

I believe that the bad things help us to appreciate the good things. And I guess it would be boring if everything went right all of the time. But we do want more good days than bad. And I hope that is what you have. Keep on taking life one day at a time. Realize these are learning experiences and that you grow with it. I hope that you had a good day in all and that you have a wonderful weekend. Remember you are special and unique in your own way.

I didn't realize you weren't in USA. Where are you from? I may have missed if you posted it, or just forgot. But now I am curious. I hope that you found somebody to chat with.

It really makes me happy when others are happy. You sound happy in your post. I am really glad about that. It makes me smile. I know we all have problems, but when somebody can rise above and have a good day. That makes my day worth while.
