going backwards

Some people have reported weight gain, though, I had weight loss on it, but it gave me severe diarrhea. But it worked well as an antidepressant with my moods. I was sad to have to go off of it. So I guess it would be trial and error, as it works differently on different people. I would give it a go and see what happens.

It probably takes time to go off of the med. Most of them, you don't want to go off too fast. You can have bad withdrawal symptoms. And believe me, it is no fun.

I am sorry that the citalopram stopped working good for you. I hate changing meds, the last change I made I was lucky. The meds were closely related, so I was able to go on one before I went off of the other. And the other was effexor, which is noted for the withdrawal symptoms. Evidently you can't have both meds in your system at the same time. I think that this doctor knows what he is doing. And if you have a crisis, don't hesitate to call him.

i have heard bad things about zoloft, my doctor tried to prescribe them too me abut i refused as my brother and sister have been on them before and both tried to commit suicide after being on them for 2 weeks, they maybe be different for some people but studies have shown they can make your depression worse. im on avanza which you take at night as they can make you a little drowsy. im so much better with them. let me know how the zoloft go hun
