I will take some of that motivation Chartreux. I have a lot of stuff from the fire that needs to be cleaned. I will be posting here until I get it tone. Or started, whichever comes first. LOL... Have looked at it. It is depressing. A lot of soot and creosote. But have to take it one day at a time. And move slowly.

Bump again!!

So i started the new me, i joined Weight Watchers to get my diet in line and have lost a few lbs so far, doing a fair amount of walking, still need to get back into running but its hard to find time with the baby and such. Feeling pretty good lately still on the Vit D and i'm sure the sun being out is helping with that to. Keep up the motivation everyone!!!!

Maybe this should be a sticky thread so people don't have to keep bumping it?

I started an online course of Cognitive behaviour Therapy, I booked myself into a counseling service at University and I started back at my work placement. The therapy is already helping me understand why I'm depressed (basically I think too much), I'm hoping the counseling will provide extra support, and the work placement always makes me feel valued and like I'm doing a good job every day. Hopefully this will help me :)

I take a med for thinking too much. I started with risperdol, but went to abilify because it is better. Wish I could of done it without the meds, but they do help. I am an obsessive thinker for the most part. It is a relief not to be anymore.

I will see about making this a sticky, but if people are going to keep posting on it, it is best to keep it as is. Just keep bumping it up. Or else we could just start a weekly post for this. We'll see. There are options anyway.

Geosajda,

This is great to hear. I am losing weight too. I am glad. Have been over weight for years. Finally it is coming off. I have been drinking lemon water and walking. It really helps me.

We are all so proud of you. Remember that.

Bump Again turn

Weight Watchers is going very well, down almost 5 lbs last week yeah .  Eating better and walking everyday is really helping.  Had a good session with my therapist this week, we are bumping back to 2-3 months now, can't believe it, i've come a long way.....Keep up the fight everyone you CAN do it!!

I know that I mentioned having a fire in our shop. I have been working on cleaning up the items that were in there that got covered with soot. I work on it a little each day, I will share my progress with you on this. It gets rather emotional, as there were a lot of keepsakes in there.

Well, I went grocery shopping, and had to face both phobias about being in public and driving. I used to love driving until I got into an accident a year and a half ago, I hadn't driven since. Just recently starting driving again, I had to learn how to drive a stick shift, and so far it's going really well. As for the whole being out in public thing, that went well too. It might have been the fastest grocery trip ever, hahaha. I think I forgot some stuff that was on the list, I was just running and throwing stuff into the cart. But I didn't hyperventilate or pass out, so I consider it a win :)

Each time, I think it gets a little easier. I am not a huge fan of shopping and I have to do some grocery shopping soon. Tomorrow or the next day. It takes me awhile because they changed the store around and it is hard to find things for me. I hate when they do that. But I think they do it on purpose so we have to look at things that aren't necessarily on our list and we buy more. lol...

I am proud of you AzyMae for getting through the shopping and for driving. I know accidents scare us and we are afraid to drive again. I am a terrible backseat driver too. I don't nessessarily say anything, but my foot is always putting on the brake. lol...

I think you are absolutely right, Karen. Hahaha you know what, that's a good thing though, being a backseat driver. When I was practicing in my Bronco with my dad, I could always tell when I needed to shift gears because he would do the motions with his feet, like he could somehow control the vehicle from the passenger side. It was actually very helpful.

I am proud of you. I didn't work on my project yesterday, but hope to get back started again soon. Maybe today if it doesn't rain. I still have a couple boxes of glass to do, then comes the harder stuff. Fun... But one way or another it will get done.
