I would highly suggest that you go with your spouse to the Dr appointments and ask questions of the Dr. If you and your wife are in agreement that there is a concern about the quality of care, then it may be wise to seek a second professional opinion.
I will say that many spouses are concerned with the amount of medications that their loved ones are on. We see this all the time with Chronic Pain patients and their spouses.
Like was advised here, you need to seek professional help with this, as we cannot advise which, and how much your wife should be taking. Also,... it might be wise to call your pharmacist and double check, to make sure all med's are compatible with each other.
