Display,
I'm doing better, thanks. I still deal with becoming dysfunctional here at work, so I have to say "not out of the woods yet". Still, better. Wife and I drove 2.5 hours (each way) to watch a high school 6 man football game Friday night; step-son-in-law coaches a small town team. It's a real hoot. At one point a punt went off course (not all that unusual) but this one went over the fence bordering this tiny stadium and went out into the parking lot; cracked me up. The bleachers only seat about 50 people so we brought lawn chairs and sat along the side lines. 6 man football is interesting... 80 yard field, 20 yards for a 1st down and a few other modifications. Saturday we got outside and did some yard work, and that night went to see the movie "Courageous"; good movie. I made a huge pot of chicken/sausage gumbo and we had friends over Sunday to help us eat it. It was a good weekend.
I'm also glad to hear you got out to a 12 step meeting. Face to face interaction may be challenging while battling depression, but it is therapeutic. Being connected here is good and it has some definite benefits, but it's no substitute for actual human contact.
Hey, Maggie. Nice to hear from you too. Have fun re-reading the chronicles of Narnia. All this talk and I may have to go re-read them too.
