Oh jamie, you are such a good friend that people take advantage of you!!! No fair!! Try to get some rest and some heat on those sore places!! Any break on the heat/ get a new doc!! He is terrible-will write more later

I agree, your doc isn't helping you very much. Unless he has some reasoning as to why he doesn't want to give you anything for pain. Maybe it wont work with the meds that you are already taking, I don'[t know... I think it is sad though that you have to suffer so much.

There is a site called Raintree nutrition. It has herbs that help with pain and energy and stuff. They are expensive, but you might want to check it out. We take what is called graviola. It is good for the system. Keeps you cleaned out and is suppose to have all kinds of cancer fighting properties in it. We bought a capsule machine and we make our own. We buy it in bulk. Something you might want to look at while you are thinking about it. I don't know...

I hope that things work out and that you feel better soon. Keep in touch. Keep posting. Let us know how you are doing. Glad your mate is giving you some space.

Sorry to hear that you are tired and feeling down about your Dr. With that said , I would look into getting a doctor who cares... I know that they are hard to find but I also know that they're out there. Just takes some searching. Very frustrating (oh, how I know). about your friend, Jamie you are a very compassionate person and helping others is just who you are. I understand that completely, I am the same way. However, my down fall is that I sometimes put my needs on the back burner to help that other person. I'm trying to change this, but it's not going very well. Like you say Jamie... I agree with the others, just leave this doctor and get another one...you are so worth it...
and you got us here rooting for you, you can do it. Do you need a referral or can you seek
out a pain management doctor without one??? maybe look into things and see if the referral

Miss you much. Sorry you can't get what you need to help you feel better. What is the dr's reasoning for not giving you anything for pain? I hate pain. I get severe cramps, for which I have been given medication. My dr. did lower the dosage because he said I was taking them so frequently. Hope you get some rest while your mate is gone. Hi Jaimie, about 18months ago I had nerve entrapment in my neck. No pain medication would work, to sleep I would lay in bed, with the light on all night, Tv on with sound down and I used a hot water bottle to relax my muscles. This helped a little but I look back now and I was extremely lucky. I got referred to see a specialist, and I have private health cover and the specialist did my surgery the next day after seeing him and my pain went immediately. I hope you get some good luck, You really deserve it and I will pray for you.

Jamie maybe muscle relaxers would help-non addictive....at least til you find a "real" docotr...I take flexeril (cyclobenzapreine) and that helps with sleep too good luck baby
