Hello, Orchid 221, Thank you for responding with your age and normal sleep schedule. Your age would indicate that you may not have quality sleep deprivation, and the fact that you are dreaming is an indication that you are getting some REM sleep. How much REM sleep is the question.
The interruptions during the night, especially if you are awake for a considerable amount of time, and waking up easily when you husband gets up could be depriving you of some of the rem cycles in your sleep schedule.
But! and these are big ones! You are only 36 years old, and you are able to make plans for an evening with your husband and for planning the meal, etc., as well as making efforts to do the things that you feel must be done. You may have just one form of mild depression, but we aren't doctors so we can't diagnose or say that something is the solution to your problem.
If you really begin to have erratic sleep cycles it would help you greatly if you would consider seeing a pneumocologist to have a sleep apnea test to see if you are, perhaps, missing significant time in the REM cycles of sleep during the night.
Research statistics show that improvement in depression and anxiety occurs strongly when continuous positive air pressure treatment is used on anxiety and depression levels in apnea patients.1
I would investigate it only if your conditions worsen.
