Good morning, all...Thanks for being here.

Things are starting to settle down...at least slightly. Just taking it day by day. Will fill you in when my wandering mind returns.

But first, have to get the plumber this morning. Guess it's good this glitch happened before I was alone for the week.

This morning we have an appointment with John's doctor to get results of his recent cat scan.  Keep your finger's X'd that the Hodgkin's is still in remission!   ~ Joyce   By the way....plumbing issue repaired! (This sign was NOT on his truck.)      ...."Don't sleep with a drip. Call your plumber."

Howdy Y'all

Busy busy day!! Pain doc is keeping me on neurontin for another month and start aquatic therapy for neck 3 times a week 40 miles away. HMMMMM!? We'll see-I'd love too, but $$$$$.

Thanks for all the greetings. Life here is very hectic here right now so may not get on everyday. Long story-like a cheesy crazy soap opera over here-trying to keep sense of humor and go to my "HAPPY PLACE" often-lol.

Love to all-doing better..so thanks for all the support during my last meltdown..y'all are the best.

Praying for a good outcome Joyce.

Karen and Jamie, I am unable to get on Yahoo mail right now..will write when I fu=igure it out.

Good Morning, all. Great news from the doctor visit yesterday. John's Hodgkin's cancer is STILL in remission! He left for family reunion yesterday.  Called from Ohio...trip is going well, so far. Had trouble getting to sleep last night.  Strange being alone in the house.  Really appreciate you cyber friends being here. Hope all goes well for everyone today. CUL ~ Joyce Idle Thoughts Of A Wandering Mind …..Why do you bake cookies and cook bacon?                         ( shouldn't we COOK cookies and BAKE bacon?) and….. Did you know…. Peppers with 3 bumps on the bottom               are sweeter and better for eating. Peppers with 4 bumps on the bottom                are firmer and better for cooking.

Is your husband in Michigan yet? We might get some rain today and tomorrow. I think it will be south though. So we will be lucky to get it. Up here I mean.

Thanks for the facts on peppers. Pretty cool. What about the ones with no bumps at all? Ceyenne. They are hot but good. I love them for cooking, pack a little punch.

Somebody had a pic of a red jalopena. Aren't they usually green? I bet that was good and hot.

I'll take some of your drowsiness....had just four hours of sleep.

John's not to Michigan yet, just a few hours away.  First stop Detroit, then Mackinaw, then Tawas City.

The 'pepper' info was just about the green ones.  Have never cooked with the hot guys.

Sorry you didn't sleep. John will be traveling all over the state then. I am in northern lower penninsular. But I recognize all the towns that you mentioned. I am far from Detroit though. about 80 miles from Mackinaw. I hope he has a good time.

How are you? I hope things are better. You sound good. I hope you have a good nap.

Great news Joyce!! Pat hit 5 year mark.

Karen -apparently someone "compromised" my yahoo account. Who would be interested in that, I don't know why... so i have to wait til tomorrow to get back in.

Rainy here-we need it. Gonna chill with a good book..I think neurontin and effexor are helping, at least for now-I'll take it for as long as it lasts-lol

I had somebody hack my hotmail acct and couldn't get on for a long time. They sent a password to an account I didn't use anymore so I had to open a new one with a different email addy. Good luck...

Hi All,

unfortnately I had to go back inpatient for sometime and now am doing out patient therapy again.

More med changes. Have added respidal this time to calm my anxiety over the memories that are coming.

Could be worse.  Have a new neurologist on 7/26/12 and hopefully we will have the meds for the TN and cluster headaches worked out with the Physc meds so the depression does not spiral down so quickly!!.

Hope everyone has been well and enjoying  their summer.  I have spent mine so far, journaling, crosswords, soduko and art!  Oh, plus I have start a guided journal for Emotional regulation and balance.

Thanks for checking in. I am glad you are doing better. I use to take risperdol and it worked good. I hope that it works good for you too.
