'Just for today'

 ive been suffering from depression for 3 years now and it all seemed to start about a time i had a mild stroke.

days are really hard at times and my emotions seem to spiral from calm to 'god this is the end of the world for me'

i have 4 lovley childrem and a very supportive husband ,i can understand why this has happend to me .im 30 years old .I am hopeing that i can beat this horrible disease that has taken my old happy self ,ive also lost touch with my brother who 2 years ago had a fight for cancer,he seemed to be ok at first then he got sad {just like us}now me and the rest of my family are trying to find him and also hes wife and 2 lovley kids,hes 36 and hope i can find him soon .

Anyway i will carry on fighting this illness and hope to find a closure soon.

Sooo sorry to learn of your brother and your stroke. Do they know what caused your stroke??? What are they doing for you now to prevent the next one?

I have four children also, but mine are grown. The stroke very well could cause depression. Are you taking any anti-depressant ?? If not, please let your doctor know that you are suffering. They can prescribe a med that will help balance your brain chemistry and get you feeling mor like your old self again.

I wonder why your sister-in-law is allowing your brother to hide . . . I would think she would contact you to help support him emotionally . . . . or are you saying that she is looking for him also??? very sad

dearest mandyi know what you mean sbout "changing your life"mine changed when i was 31 6years ago ive been on anti depreeantes since i tried stopping them once "to be normal" and all it did was turn me into a very nasty hermit once i was back on them i was better meds can be good in certain instances i will be on them the rest of my life so if the doc thinks (or you) would be better with them i would give it another go i will never be like i was but im better with them also im sorry to hear about your brother i have lost several family members to cancer throughout my life
