had laser surgery on both eyes today. was intense as per usual.
left eyes vision has improved, albeit it has it problems, burst veins
and lipid leakage, right eye is critical. has tightened up burst vessels
as new ones are forming and done some more repair work aeound the
sides. vision in right, well non existant, could not see the chart with my
left eye covered, and the letters were huge!!!!!!!! lots of lipid leakage
and retinapathy going on. oh well have a headache.

Oh Jam...every time I think I've got problems, I read what you are going through and admire how strong you are.

Last night, it was declared that today is a public holiday in celebration of one of our athletes winning a gold medal. I was really looking forward to going to work. Well, at least I got to sleep in.

This weekend I went to visit a friend and we watched the horse races. It was my first time going to the races and the first time I have seen her in a long time.

Went to mass last night and feel great about it. I struggle with attending church on my own sometimes. Does anyone else find that is hard? I always make sure to look around and take notice of the other people there alone as well. I think schedule & routine is good for my anxiety, so I am excited to start classes and build routine again.

I have an event with my old sorority on Sunday. I look forward to going although many of the girls were ugly to me because of my relationship with Voldemort. Can you imagine it has been almost a year? This time last year was when I was telling her I just couldn't handle her moods anymore, that they were bringing me down. This upcoming weekend will mark the actual betrayal. And then, early September will be a full year that she quit speaking to me.

I have made so much progress and love where I am. I do want to make sure that everyone (whether new members or old) always remembers to stick to your meds. I have been feeling like I have my OCD under control now for months, but I have (and will) continued to take the meds.

This morning I woke up at 6. 6 IN THE MORNING! I made coffee, put on makeup, picked out my clothes, took my time and got to work early. That is what I used to always do! I find comfort in not rushing and having my time to myself. I was ELATED when I woke up early and felt like I really had things in control even more.

Please do continue to keep me in your thoughts and prayers--- I still keep you in mine! I still have sad moments and sometimes, sad hours or even days. It's a part of life. I am healing from so much trauma in my childhood and the pain Voldemort caused. I forgive her for myself, but I want nothing to do with her and I think that's ok too :)

That is okay Courtney. You have the perfect right to pick and choose who you want in (or out of)your life. I think she is toxic to be in your life. And not wanting that is perfectly understandable. I kind of wish that you didn't put so much emphasis on the dates that are about her. But I know that is a part of your healing. But when you don't notice them anymore, it will be even better. Then you will be focussing on the here and now. That takes healing and growth. And you will acheive that in time.

I like getting up early in the morning and having that relaxing time to myself. I drink my coffee and get on the computer usually. I listen to the birds singing. It is nice... And no rushing like you said. I am up early a lot. My hips wont let me lie in bed very long in the morning. But I do enjoy being up after I get my meds and get the pain under control.

I am so glad that you posted Courtney. Remember, you are a work in progress, things will continue to get better. Yea, we are going to have our ups and downs, but we will get by.
