Good morning everybody,

I hope all are having a good day.  It is very cold here, but what else can I expect during January?  One year we had a 70 degree day in January.  That was nice!!!  I hope that the weather warms up soon, but I see no sign of that.

Keep posting how your day is going.  Joyce is taking some time off.  She will be missed dearly.  In the meantime maybe some of us can come up with some daily trivia...

House cleaning is on my list today. It's beautiful here- sunny with a high of 69 today. Still not feeling great but I will push through it.

That's a good guess Karen, now that's all ill ever be able to come up with!

Beautiful day here- sunny, no clouds, 70-80 degrees! I have some friends coming over trying to cheer me up because I'm sick... Hope everyone else is healthy!

Good day all. Im starting my day with hope and optimism. Been working on some collages that combine positive imagery with positive affirmations. I also have high hopes in the productivity department as the MoM (manager of messes), I hope that I will be able to thwart my 2yr old's cyclone of destruction and get some housework done.

I got called into a meeting since morning. Just got out.
Have a big headache that doesn't want to go away now. Woke up with a neck pain-something like a stuff neck, not sure what kind of pain it is.

Hi. I tried so hard to keep positive yesterday, but today is different. I had terrible nightmares all night and woke up several times with asthma. I wish I was numb, I feel the tears coming to the surface, right behind my eyes... Im trying hard to push past it.

I have to leave my home for a bit, I have to go volunteer for my bishop, because in return he has given me a food voucher and agreed to cover the expence for my counceling. I know that when I am there I probably will have a good time, but getting past the anxiety of leaving my home is hard.

I have been looking forward to the chat all week long. I don't get out much, so for me to have the opportunity to chat with you is an opportunity that I greatly antisipate. (Que the tears) im so thankful to have found this comunity where I don't feel so alone, and where I get the opportunity to comunicate with others who understand what I've been going through...

(I need a hug)

I hope you feel better. I think going to volunteer will definately help you. I am glad that you are helping eachother and that this is a way for you to get counseling. You should be feeling better soon. I am sorry you had nightmares. They can leave a bad taste in your mouth all day so to speak. It wll wear off as the day goes by...

Trina turned me on to some cool sites for Trivia. So here is a couple of things about animals...


Most cats in Halifax (Nova Scotia) have six toes.

You thought that only you need sunscreen? Well pigs, walruses and light-colored horses are prone to get sunburned.

Here is a little trivia for the morning.



A headless cockroach can survive for a couple of weeks. Its life would finally end due to starvation!

No dentist for this creature! Crocodiles, through their life grow new teeth that replace the old set!

No luck with my internet at home as yet. Sigh! It wasn't that bad without it though. Spent more time using my DBT book. Also continued to read some other books i started reading and then I went to bed early since I've been having trouble with my neck and head lately. Will call and make a doctors appointment today. Really think I need to have it checked out.

No major plans for me today. Just work.

Here's a lil joke I found and thought you all might like:

A doctor and a lawyer were talking at a party.
Their conversation was constantly interrupted by people describing their ailments and asking the doctor for free medical advice.
After an hour of this, the exasperated doctor asked the lawyer, "What do you do to stop people from asking you for legal advice when you're out of the office?"
"I give it to them," replied the lawyer, "and then I send them a bill."
The doctor was shocked, but agreed to give it a try.
The next day, still feeling slightly guilty, the doctor prepared the bills.
When he went to place them in his mailbox, he found a bill from the lawyer.
