Feeling a bit out of it today, but that is ok as it is snowing out and I have no where I have to be. Still a bit achy from yesterday's massage, but I am getting there.

I hope to get back to working on my novel. Depression has taken that from me and now that I am feeling better it is time to get working on it. I am almost done with the first draft and I just know that finishing it will give me such happiness and a sense of accomplishment that I have been missing for a long time. I don't know whether my book will get published, but I have to try. I feel like it is my ticket out of the cubicle hell. I guess I am just afraid-afraid of failure, afraid of success, who knows. I have a tendency to never finish things. I am putting it down here as a way to push myself forward.

I have been trying to change some things about myself for decades-procrastination is one of the biggest. I have kept my house clean for 2 weeks, which is major for me. I have been hitting the gym 5 days week for 2 weeks as well. Both of these changes make me feel a sense of order in my life. When I look around I don't see chaos anymore, which adds to the peace within.

I have the power to change my life. I have the ability to choose to let my pain and depression rule me, and I have the ability to get up and live my life. I am choosing to live. I spent too many years wanting to die. I cannot squander my new found joy. I have things to live for now and I intend to live.

Wow, do I feel motivated now. Its amazing how just writing these thoughts out changes things. I am so glad I found this forum.
