Arthritis has been a factor in my life for a long time. I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my knees when I was 12. It was hard to accept. My mom made me quit basketball which I loved.
Now I have arthritis in my si joint, shoulders, and wrists. Its aggravating. I can't pick my kids up. Some days I can't even blowdry my hair.
I go to therapy for depression and I'm in physical therapy for my knees and shoulders. It helps to feel like I'm doing something about the pain.
Jamie is right. Feel free to come here and rant, it can help. This place is full of great, helpful people.
