Wellbutrin is making me feel so sick to my stomach I feel like I can thro up its making my head hurt an spin its tha generic bupropion XL mfg is mylan I've never heard of it I kno sm generics r no good but no information on this one I'm not goin to take it anymore cuz its not working but I just wonders if anyone knew sad

You can look up side effects of medications on www.drugs.com its good to know some of them, Make a note of this happening to you on this medication so your doctor can put it in your chart, there are other medications out there you can try so don't give up yet...many well wishes and keep us posted as we do care...

All generics are not created equal.  The main ingredient of the drug has to be identical but the fillers in the meds

are all different. I take a generic medication by the manufacturer Sandoz.  All others did not work or made me

very ill.  There is alot of controversy out there about generics.  Hope you will be able to work out your medication

problems.

Your post was a little harsh.  I am in no way putting down antidepressants as I have taken fluoxetine for many

years.  I stopped taking the medication in September, 2012 because every 90 days it became an ordeal

trying to get the pharmacy to order the Sandoz brand.  I kept being told that all generic fluoxetine is the same

so once again I tried different brands.  One made me so dizzy I could not function the 5 days I was on it.

Since I was not feeling very well I finally was able to talk Walgreens into special ordering the meds for me.

This medication is a god send.  I have had chronic pain since 1992 which plays havoc with my nervous system.

I would never discourage anyone from taking antidepressants as I believe they save many lives.

It is a known fact that the fillers make the main ingredient act differently in some people.  I am very sensitive

to medication so I find it insulting for a pharmacist to tell me that they are all the same.  My dr. stated that he

has many patients have difficulties with one manufacturer over another.

I don't usually don't post, but I couldn't help getting into this conversation about generics making you sick. I was on Celexa for quite a few years with no problems....than I retired and the drug company I now have would not cover Celexa but they would cover the generic citalopram and it has made me sick. I have side effects now that I never had when I was on Celexa......they are so bad that I am going to ask my Doctor if there is something else I can take. Just wanted to jump in with a little information from someone who is experiencing the problems with generic drugs.

I am so glad you are going to respond to your doctor before going off the medications.

It is very dangerous to do that as it may cause seizures in some folks.

Hope you feel better soon. There are a lot more meds and combos to try, so chin up and stay strong!

I was just prescribed generic ambien and had terrible migraines and had to stop taking it. I am very sensitive to medicines as well and migraines are the one side effect I will get when I have a reaction. Im now waiting on insurance to approve a Lunestra for sleeping

Thank you for responding to my post. I am also on clonzapam with is a real nasty drug to get off of. Like I said in my earlier post I am seeing a phsyc doctor on June 21st and I hope there is something he can do for me. I may be going to have CMT which is a magnetic therapy that helps with depression and anxiety when drugs are not doing the job. I would like to get off all these drugs because there are just to many side effects that I just can't handle......I feel sick all the time on this stuff.
