Mornin' Jazzy
I totally relate to the "paralysis" you have when it comes to doing anything!! For months, the only thing I did was move from my bed to my desk chair 2 feet away. My hubby called it "the big move"-lol
I have suffered treatment resistant depression for 8 years and it gets worse and better, like a cycle. But this past year was the worst. My advice would be this:
Talk to a psychiatrist about your meds. If you have been on them for more than a year, they ain't working. If you get new meds, stick to them for at least 3 months...give them a chance.
If you did not click with your counselor, ask for a new one. My last one sucked (pardon my French) and I stopped going-BIG MISTAKE!
Today, set one small goal (wash dishes or take shower) you will be exhausted but you will feel better
Start a journal-good and bad. I always try to find something to feel grateful for-even if it is just having a roof over your head.
Companionship is critical-could you handle a kitten? Do you have a senior center nearby? AA neighbor?
The bottom line is you will have to reach very deep into your fractured souls and find that last ounce of strength to wash a flippin' dish..you will have to force yourself and it ain't fun or pretty...but you are a wonderful human being who deserves some happiness.
Please keep posting-I care
Love
