Very scared 11 ..........
I do believe the combination of the alcohol and the caffeine is really a bad mix with the medication .... especially an anti-depressant.
As far as how quickly the reaction or drop in effectiveness the med was, consider this: When something begins to fail within the body, the perception is not that "it's beginning to fail"! Everything is mostly cool - then ... all of a sudden failure happens!!~!!
When my kidneys failed the first time nearly three years ago, it was NOT felt as a gradual thing. All of a sudden, it was a 911 call - and I didn't know why ... just that something major was wrong!
I've been on Lexapro now for about 5 to 6-weeks ... a 20mg dose ... and would never suggest you need a large dose than 10mg. That's a doctors call. I do think some changes need to be done though. You're working with an anti-depressant med ... against ... depressant liquids! And that's not even counting stress!!~!!
It's time for a decision!
