Hi all,
I paid a visit to the doctor today and was prescribed Cipralex and Apo-Lorazepam. I've never been on any kind of medication before in my life (other than antibiotics, of course) and honestly have no idea what to expect from taking these drugs.
I've just gone through a major breakup which has left me in a huge mess, and my two main problems at the moment are massive amounts of anxiety and also deep, unending bouts of depression. My understanding is that the Apo-Lorazepam will help me treat the anxiety as and when feelings crop up, and the Cipralex will eventually remedy the depression (somehow...).
My question is: has anyone here had experience with either of these two medications? Did they make you feel better? And if so, in what way? I'm intrigued to know how the Cipralex will make me feel...does it mask the pain? Or do you feel the pain but just don't feel the need to constantly cry about
it all the time?
If anyone can articulate their experiences with Cipralex--or any anti-depressants/anti-anxiety medications in general--I'd love to hear them!
Thank you
