Hello healthy14,
Welcome to the forum, glad you found us.
Yes you should hold on to that hope. From experience, lexapro and insomnia go together for a while. Like you, I was prescribed TRAZODONE, but for the first month, It took me 3 hours to fall asleep.
It goes with the territory, Hang in there, after a while, I got the best sleep I've ever had. You will too.
I remember those times, repeating endlessly that I wanted to sleep. And boy did I sleep after acclimating to Lexapro.
The good news is that the anxiety is lessening, and that's great.
Patience, and patience, nausea could be there or not for a while, but the lessening of anxiety is worth it. Just takes time for your body to adjust, these are powerful drugs.
Hang in there my friend, time and patience is the motto here, and hope will keep you going,
Charlie
