Well I have been MIA from the forum for awhile now, I wish I could say that things have improved vastly here for me but that would be a facade , you know that smile you give others when they ask how you are doing? You smile and say I'm fine, but in reality you are not and feel you may never be.

Anyway I am just rambling now, I just wanted to stop in and see how you all are doing? And share a few words from one of my favorite songs as I am positive that some of you must feel like this at times, I know I do.

I don't pick up the mail
I don't pick up the phone
I don't answer the door
I'd just as soon be alone
I don't keep this place up

I saw a competition advertised and thought, hey, why not :) :) I hope you are doing ok :) feel free to keep talking if you want to...:) (ignore that last post I made in this forum...don't know what I'm talking about sometimes, hehe...:) I just hope you are doing ok :)...keep going..everything is cool.. :)

That is okay I don't know what I am talking about most of the time :) My husband say's I am bat s**t crazy all the time . I can assume this is true .

I don't know about that, I think you sound pretty intelligent to me :) I know I was in a relationship for a long time, though at the same time that was comforting, I don't want to say anything out of line, or to influence people too much, that is my fear..but I do know that you sound like a very intelligent person, compassionate and that is a nice thing to have :) I try to be compassionate where I can :)

Thank you HB. I know I do have my issues such as not being able to leave my home, and I hide in a closet for hours if anyone knocks on my door. But I am a caring person or so I believe myself to be. You do seem to be a compassionate person from the replies I have read on the post so far today. And that is a very good thing to have going for you.

..and that is not pushing you either, just an observation, since those having a difficult time, will likely pick it up, and I have :) Thank you for being compassionate towards me :)

Hi Wendy, nice to meet you.

I'm sure we all know that smiling facade well. The hardest part for me is when I have to put up that facade for my closest family and friends because I am afraid I've been a burden for too long and I don't want them to worry about me for a while. When I end up there, I make a particular effort to look for beauty and blessings--sometimes they are so small, but I feel better when I make myself see them--the color of a tree, the sound of my daughter chatting to herself, the softness of my dog's fur. I am sorry that you feeling like you will never be well. I hope you find some peace today.
