Agitation and Zoloft

I have been taking Zoloft for a few months now and due to a pharmacy/insurance screw up, I haven't been able to get it filled so I've been out of the meds for awhile.

Has anyone experienced agitation or being easily annoyed when not on Zoloft?
Should I wait til I finally get the script filled and start taking it again to mention it to my doctor or should this be brought up ASAP?

It's not in my personality to be so easily...set off...but recently I've been annoyed by the slightest sound. It's like PMS moods amplified by a thousand.

Ideas? Help?

hi BWR. i would speak to your doctor about it asap. maybe he /she can give you some sample packs to get you by until you can get your script filled. welcome to the forum. i really do hope you feel better soon. many healing thoughts i send to you.

Welcome to the forum! I am sure you feel like a wolf, but you are not, just side effects of withdraw form the med.

Yes call you doc immeadiately for assistance. Sounds like withdraw side effects. If you pysch doc does not have any, your GP might.

Definitely speak to your doctor. Depending on how long you've been off the zoloft, it could be withdrawal or maybe return of your original symptoms.

Anything else going on in your life right now that could be causing you extra stress?

Thanks for all the responses and help. I'll give my doc a call Monday morning. I should be able to get my refill soon.

Kate, there has been some extra stress...some hardcore stress, but I'm not the kind of person that snaps easily so it's scary for me to act like this.
