I haven't been here but used to to work at an apt complex but quit to move home to help with dad who has dementia.

Got job at grocery store as a cashier. After 4 weeks was let go but was rehired as a sacker. Been doing this one
week and found out last night when in the store getting something was told there had been complaints. They are going to retrain me but have a sinking feeling they have already made up their minds, which. happened with cashiers job.

Had been told I was doing great as cashier prior to losing that job. I felt I should have had more time.

Hi Chelsi,

Perhaps you are being distracted by things at the job. that environment is very busy.

have you ever used mindfulness before? Staying in the moment and concentrating on the task at hand.

WWW. MINDFUL.ORG is a great place to start to learn about it.

Hang in there, you will work it all out in time.

It sure has been awhile. I am glad you popped in. They can retrain you, you will get it. Don't be negative, you aren't fired or anything... You are going to be okay, I know...

I am glad you left that other job. I think that they were taking advantage of you and your kindness. I am glad to see you are helping your father. You are going to be okay, remember that...
