I want my parents back. Not a day goes by w/out missing my mom. :'(

Yeah I try and look at things in that way. See the good in what comes of things. Such as another way I try looking at my parents passing is if they were still here I wouldn't have met my husband. My parents lived in southern cali & my husband has always lived in northern cali. If my parents were still around my gma wouldn't have had the chance to send me away to live with my sister in northern cali bc my parents would have never allowed it to happen. I know my husband seems like a real jerk sometimes, but he's been the one who's treated me best. (Not to over share....hope I'm not, I just don't have any problems sharing my life, lol. I do but at the same time don't) Everyone else I have been with just has never had the patience, strength, care or knowledge to help me. Several have left me bc they couldn't handle my mental disorders (That's probably something that does embarrass me to share lol). They knew of these disorders when we dated, they had been friends with me for years, but I guess enough was enough for them. This one tops that though, I had another person completely ignore my seizure. I had warned him of them too, after so long of being together, this is another thing I feel embarrassed about. I ended up having one that I was conscious/aware of (I get those kind & grand mals where I have no idea I even had one) he walks in the room, looks at me for a minute then walks away then when I was done with the episode he told me to walk to the gas station to get him his cigarettes. But my husband has been great with my illnesses, mostly anyways. With the way I am, the type of person I am or the medical conditions I have I don't think I could find someone who could love me the way he does. (I don't think I'm worthless or anything, I'm speaking out of experience.) So meeting him really has helped me out. I feel kind of bad for thinking that way though bc I don't want it to seem like he was a good trade up or anything, I just try finding the silver lining of things & meeting him is one of them.

Thank you Joanne, for the most part I'm able to move forward, I just have my moments still is all.

jennie, i understand when you said you still have your moments. i'll admit it, it's hard to move on. i'll still think back and just look around and notice that a lot of things had change. you'll still think back and miss them; who wouldn't when it's someone who's very close to you ? but it's always better to take little baby steps and start moving on little by little, pushing each and every obstacle away. stay strong jennie (:
