Hey Everybody,

Just got done in the woods, found many mushrooms. We have eaten them twice now. I am going to give some to an elderly lady that I like. We try to give her some every year. Along with berries and such.

Jamie, I am glad you got a couple of hours of sleep, though I hope you get more. Maybe it is going to take awhile for your body to get adjusted after going off of the medication.

Rob, I hope you are having a good day.

I just spent 2 hours locked out of my home. I ran out to check the mail, wearing yoga pants and a huge tshirt, and must have locked the door without thinking. I spent about 45 minutes on the rain while trying to find a way inside. Finally I went to a neighbor's to borrow a phone because mine was locked inside. Called my sort of spouse but he couldn't leave work. I had to ask the kind neighbor for a ride to his work to get the key.On the way back I asked to stop at the bank so I could get her some gas money. The people inside won't give you money without a picture ID so I had to walk through the ATM. Finally, I get home. All my clothes have to be washed and my hair rewashed because the neighbor smoked the whole way and my son is allergic to cigarette smoke.. Such a great day.

Oh, AV. I did this once. Went to the gym, and the neighbors who shared my outside door locked it. I used every card I could think of to try to shimmey the lock, and even got my toolkit from my car. Nuttin. Finally, I used lawn furniture to build a sort of ladder to a high window that was left open a crack, used the window scrapper from the car to open it further, said a pray, and grabbed hold of the sill.

I crawled through, dropped to the stairs, and left a nasty note for the neighbors. This was when I was living by myself with no friends or family within 6 hours. The next day, I put a house key in my desk at work, in my car under the mat, on my exercise key chain, and with a friend.

-sigh- I am sorry it was one of those days.

Karen, what good news about the mushrooms. I am envious.

AV so glad you survived your adventure, what a mess! Sounds like a situation I would get myself in without any trouble!

Hi All. Struggling today, threw my back out picking up the laundry basket, it was empty too! I know it is stress, had a tough therapy session last night at 8pm. Ugh! However, it was needed and I do feel better emotionally for it today.

Rainy and cloudy today, I did enough chores so I do not feel guilty heading slowly towards the couch.

Jamie so glad you got some sleep. Hope it continues my Happy Turtle.

My Alley is still sick off and on. If I do not give her a pepcid she gets what I must think is severe gas pains. So I will ask the vet at the end of this week if I sure change foods for here. I will wait just in case it is a virus of some kind.

Like Karen I must apologize I have not read the last 3 pages. My bad. I just can't. So peace and greetings to all. I hope you are well and glad to see you are posting. The pages go by fast which is so encouraging, so nice to see the support.

Ok so spill the beans where's the dental building? I have got to see...all the building structures u designed... It's Killing me I can make the pics in my head from UR descriptions but to see the real thing...can I google the athlete & others?
U had a great career somewhat parallel to my in design. Did it all too!
And kids my hubby was killed in Vietnam so I had to build my business.
Thanx for filling me in on UR family.. I understand completely...more than u could imagine. UR family story touched my ❤. I could write a novel on my fam.! HW aways fills in the gaps "always here"...😍

Did u show Gizmo?...He is a lucky dog...I had a beautiful sheltie who was so cute trained for show/ herding...he was perfectly marked a rescue dog. He always did well in the ring until the olfactory kicked in,stopped him in his tracks.... Judges frown on sniffing in the ring... He would mark the whole country if he could..but he was so-oo cute he always got away with it.. He lived til he was 17 the other 5 dogs took care of him & me!

He left us his legacy,many pups. He couldn't see or hear to well,our sweet collie was his care giver ...always gently poking him to show him the way when his nose failed him.

Getgby:😜shrooms.....fungus is really good for tummy ...less all the stuff we put with them to cook. They add a nice balance to man dishes.
You have picked quite a crop...I got some growing in the recycled hay in the corral area...Is that ok to pick? Finding any to paint? They are popular in gift shops...the shelf shrooms that is..hehe!

Myself:🙀 I loose stuff all the time.. I think I am so organized folders, files all in a row..I end up hiding them from "myself"..me...not u...LOL...once that file drawer is closed they all fall into the black hole.... So frustrating.. Hope the test scores show up or a copy where u took the original can be sent . Passing tests w/fibro now that's Determination! Or just really smart.🎓
To answer ur ? on wine I don't know...I don't like alcohol...but this is OK..it's at Winco ..try it u don't need Mikie....👦hehe..is better mixed with milk & ice...like 1/4 choco with 3/4 milk...

Oh Trina,

I hope your back gets better. Maybe try some stretching??? I am not good at giving advice on back pain. I have had it though. I had my back adjusted twice. Both times helped.

JB: Glad this plumber was nice. I hope the problem is fixed and it doesn't give you any troubling again.

Rob & Chotti: It was a good day/date, better than usual so I think it worked. Or maybe whatever Rob included in the e-mail helped my bf to be extra nice today. Now Rob, I'm really wondering what's in that e-mail turn tongue. Well, we had a nice lunch at Pizza Hut - we ordered much more than we could eat, then we went to the movies and then just a quiet evening.

Trina: Hope your back feels better soon. Take it easy and rest it.

AV: Sorry you got locked out. Glad you were able to get in finally.

Myself: Good Luck with that test Saturday.

Hello all,

Been so long I had to read whats been going on with you all.

AV- I am so sorry that you go locked out. Bummer. I get that way sometimes, forget my dang head if it wasn't attached.

Jamie- I am glad that you are getting some rest. I have not slept too well in the past week or more. I pray the sandman sprinkles extra dust on you tonight my dear.

Karen- My goodness you have been a busy little bee. Take it easy on you.

UA- I am glad your boyfriend was sweet with you today. Pizza sounds awesome. I am jealous. Lol

Trina- Oh be very sweet to you hun, back pain is well....a pain. Be easy and get better.

Gettingby- Nature is the best way to be. I love the cool air and less noise. Stay safe and strong hun.

JB1- So many more people are willing to help out now days. Thank god for that. I hope it is all fixed and no more problems come about.

Chotti- So many of our "fur babies" are lost too soon no matter how old they get to be. I am glad that your pup left so much love in your heart.

Rob- I want to know how are you and the Giz doing? I hope he is being a good boy for ya.

Well what a week it has been I will tell you that much. Started off last week on Wednesday with my mouth pain and Friday I got 3 teeth pulled. Then took my son to the er on Saturday for his mouth pain, abscess tooth. Poor boog. Monday we went to the dentist and she referred us to a pediatric dentist to be put to sleep and have all mouth work done at once. Oh my gosh I have been so scared for this. Well 05/14/14 we went to have the work done. What a crappy day. We got there and we then had to go to another town to get a piece of paper then went back to the dentist and had his work done. When we left the office it was of course the hottest part of the day and I have NO ac. He was groggy and scared a bit. He asked several times what happen. We got to town and picked up one niece and my nephew. We came home and my son was tired and went back to sleep. He started to really come around about 8pm or so and he has eaten a bit and he now is laying next to me watching utube videos of some guy paying video games. I am happy and relieved. I am also still a bit anxious as we have never done this, but he is good and the worry wort I am keeps asking if he is ok.

Well everyone I am going to chill out a bit. I have to re pack our stuff as the new living arrangements are not working. Talk to everyone soon.

I am so sorry to hear this. I hope things get better. Kidney stones are the pits. I hope it passes without too much pain. Do you filter your water? I do, ours is very hard. Full of minerals. I have well water though.

OK. Been a while…as usual

Things have been going pretty well. Wife and I had a nice weekend away recently and I'm getting along with the kids. Started seeing a new Psycharist. Liked her after the first meeting (only one so far). She not only prescribes, but talks too!

Last two weeks anxiety has creeped back in. Was off my Clonapim for a week and a half as I waited to get it filled and my Dr. was a way. That'll teach me.

Exercise has been sporadic due to an injury. I'm just all out of whack.

I know why I get this way and what I should do to prevent it, but sometimes it just seems to hard. Spent last two days sleeping on coach. Not good at all. Need to break out of this slump.

Good morning ........

   Down to 40-degrees with rain this morning at 8am. No dogs out this morning but Gizmo still liked the ride.

   UA ...... your welcome dear lady. Your BF was very nice to talk to and he was the one who suggested Pizza Hut! I said "What ... no Lou Malnattis"? Oh ... and i do have some old swampland in Florida if you're interested!!!

   jmp1969 ..... good news about the new psychiatrist ... talking is good!!!

   Karen ..... bet it's really cool up by you. Re-stated: bet it's pretty cold up by you ... and rainy! Nice (not)!!!

   MissJD ...... I'm OK and Giz is normal - that is, somewhere between a little stinker and a sweetheart! When it's raining, he's more of a sweetheart. And it's raining. Hope your mouth is much better.

   jan1952 ...... I'de say Will Rogers must have been a genious!!! 

   JB1 ....... my faith is restored in plumbers! yay!!!!

   chotti ....... i've done some research - more to follow!!!

   AV ....... I hope the second half of yesterday went better than the first half!!!

Notes:

   I did get a call from my original Nurse Practitioner late yesterday. So glad to hear she's still there at my Onco's office. Maybe her responsibility level increased - so she doesn't do the typical call-backs!

   Anyhow ... they want to me to continue to be on hold - and without any chemo for at least another two weeks. Long story - short: I go in for another set of blood tests a week from next Tuesday - and then meet with the NP the next day - while my Onco is on-hand if needed. And, another catscan is about to be scheduled.

   I will be glowing in the dark before long! It's time I made a call to my PCa mentor from Imerman Angels. He'll likely give me a more positive view of this!

I see there's some strange weather in many parts of the U.S. today! Take care .........

Glad you found a psychiatrist that does talk therapy. Mine did on the first visit, but after that I saw a psychologist. But she is cool.

Rob, it is mighty cold here today. They are talking sn** later. Yeah it is a four letter word to me. I hope that it doesn't but it wouldn't be the first time it sn**ed in May...

I hope you all are having a good day. Rob, did you find that part of Gizmo's leash??? I sure hope so.

   I am ready to blow up this ******g computer!!!!

   Vista Home Premium ..... must have made by the devil himself!~!!

   I just 95% finished a very long post to you chotti - then MS interupted the post and switched me over to "big brother" finishing an MS update to me. Of course, after waiting for their procedure to finish - and I was directed back onto the internet and HW .... the whole post was lost!

   This happens every few months or sooner. I don't understand it - but I absolutely HATE Vista. It supremely sucks!!!!

   Sorry chotti - if my patience returns tomorrow, i'll try again. It was at least a 45-minute post!

Hey AV ..........

   I actually tried writing you an e-mail last night. You've had some nasty and unusual accidents. I had an accident I've never told anyone about - and wrote you about it - because it is kind of funny (looking back at it now). I thought maybe you could have used a little funny story right now. You've had some very rough times.

   The story (a long one) was finished ... then I tried to load two pictures of Gizmo as attachments.

   For some reason, my format recently changed on my Yahoo Mail - and when I loaded the two photos, I lost everything - including the whole e-mail!!!

   Hope you're feeling better.

   God Bless telephones! At least they work! And one of my daughters uses it!@!!!!

MissJD, glad you guys have your dental issues taken care of. Its kind of scary when they put them out to work on their teeth. My son had to have that done when he was 3. His teeth have very little enamel. Fortunately, it was baby tooth and they just pulled it. Since then we have had his teeth sealed. No cavities yet!

Wendy, ouch! Hope it passes soon so you can get some relief.

Karen, that is crazy about a possibility of snow at this time of year! I don't think I could handle it.

Rob, its great that your np is still there. It makes things easier when you know you can trust the health care providers.

My life seems to be a Murphy's Law obstacle course. Its not all bad. I just keep telling myself that I am getting my life's negativity out all at once so my later years will be smooth sailing! The biggest thing is my kids are healthy and sound. It would be great if my memory still worked, if I could walk without my kneecaps dislocating and making me fall, if my throat didn't try to starve me, and I could have the regular amounts of pain. That just isn't how it works for me. I do have good days where the pain is minimal but I end up overdoing on those days because I want to do so much. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right?
