Hey Lisa, yes I was on Paxil for many years before the panic attack in Feb but I felt it was not working any more at the end of last year so I should have done something about it then. They worked for many years though and I felt great. I did many tests online a while back when I thought I was going a bit crazy and I think the only test I was close to was the BPD but even that was a low score, I may do it again just in case. Sorry you had some anxiety yesterday, I hope you have a better day today. When are you due to go up on the Lamictal? it will be 100 mg next won't it?

Hi Sean. I see the Dr on the 19th. As far as I know, there are no plans to go past 50mg but that will be determined then.

Our stories are so familiar it's uncanny. I thought my cymbalta was pooping out last year after 5.5 yrs. I finally decided to switch in January & they put me on Zoloft. By February it proved to not be a good switch. And the rest is history & here we are in September...
I've had a good cpl of weeks now with a few bad days. Yesterday afternoon concerned me but hoping it was just a "bad day." I'm so hyper-aware if how I'm feeling bc it's taken so long to have normal days so I leave very little room for feeling off. Its almost like PTSD bc of how long it's taken this year. I know you understand!

Today will be better. I just woke after 5.5 hrs of sleep. That's abt norm lately for me. God forbid I sleep a solid 8 hrs lol.

Today there will be something good for both of us. Let's look for it and report back xx

Ha wow everyone seeing their doc on the 19th, that is so weird lol

I am going to see a private therapist tomorrow morning who I thought was going to be doing Hypnotherapy but he told me today he will be doing EFT which I have had done before for something else and it was quite successful so I am really hoping and praying this will do me good. I am attacking this depression, anxiety & dp from all angles.

My day was busy. Ran errands, got my hair did, had lunch with a friend and went out to dinner with another friend and my hubby.

Hoping the Lamictal dizziness subsides like the NP said it would. I pushed through it though and stayed busy.

I'm excited abt your EFT. I've never had it but I hear it's good. I'm actually considering accupuncture. And a massage lol

Might get my nails done too as soon as they grow back. Gnawed em off when my friend moved and I'm not even a nail biter!

Enough girly stuff- how was today/tonight Sean? Pls let us know abt the EFT. I'm hopeful abt it and hopefully you have good rapport w/the therapist & will continue it.

I had a pretty good day today. Didn't do much. Visited with a friend this evening, which was nice. It is so hard for me to get out of the house, but I did it. I feel good for it too.

Hey everyone,

Glad everyone had a good day yesterday even if busy :) I had my appointment this morning, the therapist guy who is such a nice guy said that I should aim to be drug free at some point as we never really know what those drugs are doing to us side effects wise but he said to do it when I feel ready and in my own time.

The EFT is such a weird thing to do but it actually does help and the good thing is you can do it at home too. I would highly advise googling EFT and having a look at the video's on youtube. It takes a bit of practice but NHS over here are now doing research into it because they usually promote CBT but that takes time to work and also takes input from the patient which is not always possible if they are feeling bad but EFT can work so quick and help pretty much anyone. Please look into it if you can everyone as you will be surprised by it's power. You don't need to worry about how it works, just know that it does :)

Everyone seems to be keeping busy--that's good! We had quite a snow storm that started Wednesday night and continued through Thursday. Broke plenty of tree branches :( very heavy snow!

Sean, I'm not familiar with the two pain meds you mentioned...I'll look them up this weekend.

I'd cry if indiana got s!@% in Sept!! After our last winter, I have a touch of PTSD for real. Worst winter ever. I am only 43 but wouldn't mind becoming a Florida snowbird lol.

I hear ya, Lisa, about winters. But, at 62 this month, they're still not horrible enough to make me want the heat of summers. I love the mountains too much, although it does seem that with age, certain outside winter chores are much more exhausting! :)

I hope this early s...fall doesn't wipe out the change in leaf colors--you must have pretty ones in Indiana--and Karen in Michigan. Our Aspen sure are pretty. Our temps should be back in the 60s + next week, and then down again...

Lisa, hope you're managing okay and keeping in touch often with your bff.

Hawk hasn't posted for awhile. I remember him saying he went on a new anti psychotic? & he was feeling somewhat better and going to work everyday. He said he'd post but he's prob so busy and tired, let's home no posting = healing & forgetting to check in with us :-)

Hi Everyone sorry for late reply. It's like 1:32 am and I am not long home from gig, I felt really weird tonight and and still do :( ....just don't feel like it's even me writing this. I think anxiety is causing this tonight as I did feel pretty tense for some reason. I did some of the EFT when I got home but not sure if it helped, I think I need to focus on anxiety more than anything to get rid of this crappy dp.

Hope everyone is okay? I havent heard from Hawk either, hope he is okay.

I am going to get some sleep.....night everyone :)
