Savruby,
My sweet person.
Death is never easy, long illness with suffering and expected death, time to say good-bye; or quick unexpected and shocking. I have experienced both.
Either way, there is a void that grief will need time, care and self-kindness to fill.
It will be days you cry all day. There will be days you smile remembering the funniest of times with your grandmother.
One way of grieving, you can create a scrap book of your grandmother for future generations. This does not have to be expense, just full of your emotions, creativeness and love. Pictures too would help. LOL
Softest of hugs and deepest of sympathies to you.

on the other shore.'
