Need rain to stop

I'm in South Houston and we really need this rain to stop, it's raining yet again and is supposed to rain more tonight, so many prayers or well wishes for this rain to stop will be welcomed, on a side note we have not been as hot yet as in past Summers, and yes, for us Summer usually comes at the end of April...so please say either a prayer or well wishes for the rain to stop soon...

Have you noticed a weather pattern shift in last 7-5 years? I have since I work for a national company I'm more tuned into weather everywhere because it effects our operations. But have noticed the bad has gone to worse. It didn't rain it floods it's didn't just snow it froze its not just hot its deadly type stuff. I just wanted to know if you noticed the shift. The wet got wetter and the dry got dryer.

It's raining yet again, there is still some low level flooding and could have flash flooding today...so could be more flooding for Houston today and I really hope husband will make it home tonight as that might not be possible...

I grew up in southwest Houston, near Brays Bayou. I can still remember how quickly our street would flood after one of our duck-drowner rains. Praying for an end to the rain in Texas.

be safe. mother earth is cracking the poops. and the way we treat her, so she should. (not that i want people or animals to suffer or anything) you know what i mean.

Rain has lessened, sun came out yesterday. More rain is expected next week, so we are very water logged, we have puddles out back, we got lucky, but if more rains come this could be hard, we got stranded one morning because of street flooding. Will stock up on food for next week....

I'm with you. Even if it's not rising here, it's raining north of us and coming downstream. The levels I'm seeing are equal to that of Allison.

North of Houston - prayers for those in flood prone areas. Traveling out to west Houston tonight. Hoping rain will stop so I can get down there and back safely.

More rain coming, starting tomorrow the 30th May in the afternoon, so if you need anything get it, because there could be more flooding...Saturday thru Tuesday...this added rain will beat what Allison did, I remember that clearly, my daughter s at school when the flooding started for Allison and at noon time the bus came around and I had to wade thru knee deep water to get my daughter off the back of the bus, it was crazy to have school that day, but that was an awesome bus driver for backing into the driveway and making sure we got my little one home...we came so very close to disaster in Allison...
This rain is so very bad, everyone please shop at randals and make a contribution to the American Red Cross...

Yes, it was noisy thunderstorms tonight with 4 power outages one was for 10 minutes... and possibly more rain tomorrow..."start singing the blues, I'm leaving today..." sorry got carried away...

I'm worried for you all when the rain stops, the sun comes out, the water hasn't drained away yet due to too darn much. It's time to get hot in your area, Houston. So what has the City and outlying areas planned to control mosquito hatch and water pollution?

Don't get your local news, but am thinking about you all and worrying!

We have friends in Dennison, so having been watching weather reports on local news every evening. The husband works in metro Dallas area; they've been having problems too.

Be safe and take care! Buy lots of insect repellent!
