i have seen that we as individuals limit ourselves and deny ourselves the opportunity for development and progression because we have a mental illness. stigma, fear, rejection actually manifest first within ourselves; and this is because society needs to get it's head out of it's *** and treat mental illness alike any other. just my little vent. keep advocating and putting it out there. remember take out the have, we don't own it, we 'live with it'!!!

so true, a lot of sufferers [warriors] had to the stigmas, including myself.
Yes, it is hard to be proactive when you can barely force yourself out of bed some days. However, if we don't do it, why should anyone else?
We are diagnosised with, not controlled by.....

I saw the X and thought " aargh, me maties , I've finally found the booty of Black Beard."
Lol
Who mental now ???? I am.
See you can't publicly pretend to be a pirate and get away with it. ( yes I have tried )
"Nurse, I'm going to need a large tractor and a rain coat, when I get the head out of the &&& close it up with staples before it "
"But , Doctor ! You can't change 5000 years of human history with just one pull!"
" I can try, we have to! Or I'm not Alan Quartermaine"
Ok so I'm being punny today
It's a gem Jaime

All I can say is that I wouldn't wish depression (and anxiety) on my worst enemy, and it's so frustrating that you try so hard to help yourself, pray so hard to get better, and still feel like you're being eaten up inside by this big black insidious monster that won't let go.

My monster and I have an understanding. I win 3 out of 5 battles every week and on every other week end, the monster wins. LOL
Life is a roller coaster, put a neck brace on and enjoy the ride!
