Hi Rich. Hope things have improved since Saturday. I think we all get 'those days'. I allow myself to 'burn a day' every now and then, as long as I don't let it get into the third day. It's easier now that I have an Emotional Support Animal. She is an 85 lb pit bull mix. She knows the difference between me going back to bed 'sick' and going back to bed 'depressed'. If I'm sick, she lays on the floor, content to be 'watchful'. If I'm depressed, she gets up on the bed and licks my face! Hard to ignore her!
Having her put a schedule back in my life. She needs to go out for 'comfort' and for exersize. I 'must' get dressed every day. I 'must' go outside with her every day. I 'must' play. Trust me, she knows if I am 'into' it or just 'going through the motions'. She knows, and she is okay with it all! No judgement. No comment. It's wonderful. I wonder if getting a support animal might be a good thing for you too?
