Seroquil, how long before it kicks in?

A few weeks ago I stopped taking Abilify and changed over to Seroquil in conjunction with Remeron. The initial dose, 50 mm did nothing so they've upped the dosage to 150mm. Just wondering how long Seroquil takes to get into your system and provide some much needed relief.

I have never taken it, but I think that there are some who have. They will hopefully chime in and give you some advice.

it will hit. you will know. give it a few days more at the higher dose. been on it, and too much of it!! 1200mg at night. that's enough to put you me Karen and 2 large bulls out. it is sedating. that's it's purpose. I use abilify now. (as my anti psychotic) keep well.

Thanks for responding, I need all the support I can get. My present dosage is 150 and from what I'm being told that's a low dosage. The depression is a bit better today but no relief regarding the anxiety. I guess all I can do is give it more time.

yep, more time. keep strong. remember to use your coping skills as an adjunct.
