Daughter's surgery date set

Hello all. My daughter's surgery date is set for November 3rd. Trying hard to believe that it will be a blessed day and that the fact that it is the day my mother died simply means she will be there in spirit, helping things to go well. I want so much for this date to be remembered as the day my daughter was released from the prison of Cushing's Disease and not a sad day any more!

Her pre admission testing date is October 14th, my birthday. This fact is helping me with the other date being what it is.

All prayers and healing thoughts are appreciated.

Update. The surgery date has been changed to the 5th of November. At least it is another day that my friend is available to be here with the dogs so that they are not in their crates for hours and hours!

Two days isn't a big issue. How does daughter feel?

If you can, I suggest doing something special with your daughter one of those 2 days, ease the tension for both of you.
