It's not an ideal one,but it is a job.
Hired by a mortgage bank to work in customer service. They have a strong tradition of promoting from within, so perhaps eventually I will be able to apply my skill base.
Once I am accustomed to the work,I can get involved again in the community. I have often thought about
pursuing starting a fibro support group locally.
Regardless, it is good to finally be gainfully employed. Too darn bad about
those 13 years in college.
Sometimes i am me (HT)...

Congratulations, Myself! It may not be what you wanted or what you were qualified for, but it is something to bide time with. I hope you will be getting benefits. Great work.

Congrats on the employment! Glad you can see that it could
open the doors you want
opened!
Keep going with those thoughts about
starting a support group!

Oh, what wonderful news! A job is a stepping stone to our lives. If it gets to bad, go to mindful.org and search for job stress, lots of stuff to help make the job better for you.
Starting a support group is a little tough. It may be easier for fibro though. The Finding Courage, abuse group I started fell apart after a year, women did not want to talk about
the hard stuff, some freaked and never came back. I will try again.
You will succeed I think. You are golden that way...
Peace
Trina
