On SSRIs Since mid-April, Night Sweats every Single Night

Went from 10mg of Lexapro to 20mg of Fluoxetine as the side effects from Lexapro were insane. I have IBS, which is why I got on SSRIs in the first place, but I still have a lot of diarrhea (although not as intense then when I was on the Lex), which started when I got on these SSRIs, and I've had night sweats every single night. My PCP is telling me that the diarrhea is a coincidence and that he doesn't know why I'm having night sweats, but I have a hard time believing that. Has anyone experienced side effects like these after eight plus weeks? I feel like this stuff should have subsided by now.

Hey mlf231,

The only similar side effect I had was super-sweaty palms when I was on Lexapro. It was quite embarrassing, actually.

I sweat a lot when I sleep, but I have never associated my night sweating with SSRIs.

Are you female and pre or menapausal? Could be triggering that.
My med do that.
