adding wellbutrin to lexapro - anyone? anniversary of child's death&struggling

Hi,

I have struggled with depression for as long as I can remember, but what I'm experiencing now seems to be on a whole new level. It was recently the anniversary of my child's death. I know that is currently making things worse, but for a long time things have been bad. I have been on Lexapro for awhile but am getting ready to add Wellbutrin to it. Does anyone have any experience with this?

So sorry you go through this.

Have you talked to your doc about ativan. You can take in as needed, short term or long term.

It can get you over the weeks of this period, then you have it for just the rough days.

During this time, hold ice during dark times, it will bring your emotions back down to a manageable level.

Thank you, the adjustment period is hard. Being on Lexapro alone has caused me to gain over 20 pounds. It really bums me out. I just don't need that on top of everything else. I'm thinking of dropping the Lexapro and going just with Wellbutrin. Thoughts??? I can't get a prescription for ativan because I have a lot of other issues and am in pain management. There are days that are so dark.
