i despret need of some help

 i have been seeing a councler for the past 3 yeaars with amazing results but lately ive been relly depressed and none of her techniqes are helpinf im considering seeing a shrink but she says im not at the point where i relly need on not only that i live in a city with a pop. of about 25000 and only 4 shrinks so yould have to be relly relly bad in order to actuly see one. HELP! i have no idea whatr to do here and the situations getting pretty bad 

Two points:
1) depression means you need to make a change in how you do things.
2) odds are you are close to making a good change and the thoughts about seeing a shrink are like fluff to keep you from working out and/or facing the change that is already in your subconscious.

My girl friend called that, facing the monster at the door. Some people talk about dying a 1,000 deaths. Other say its like a civil war inside them. It's all one. And yes it is terrible.

It takes what it takes to get through that. You've been working toward this for a long time--probably a lot longer than even the three years you've been in counseling. It's a crisis period, when many people quit counseling. Don't do that.

Get more exersize. Be sure to eat and sleep. And wait. When your mind is ready, it will let you know what you need to do--and you will be ready for it. Getting past the monster at the door only takes seconds--it's the working up too it that takes time.
