It's sometimes cold in Scotland. You can never predict if it will be rainy even on the most sunny of afternoons.

The weather was 'iffy' yesterday, so I decided I would do an outdoor project, indoors. I pulled out the sewing machine and the tablecloths I bought as fabric for the slip covers. Everything was going along smoothly. I got all of the 'backs' done and was on the last 'seat' cover when I ran out of bobbin thread. No problem, just reload it. Sigh. The bobbin didn't want to reseat properly and, in the struggle, the needle got broken! I only had about 6 inches of seam to finish and wouldn't you know it...no spare!

Today my daughter ran to the store for me and bought me a variety pack! Such a good kid!

Now, all of the slip covers for the patio chairs are done. I still haven't decided if I will add the ties or not. It's much too windy today to put them on the chairs so I'll have to wait to see how the complete project looks outside.

Next, I asked my daughter to help me decide which complementary table cloth to use for the chaise lounge slipcover. She was thrilled to be included in the decision making process. As a matter of fact, we are going with the one she prefers... 2 inch wide stripes in blue, aqua, black and terra cotta. The blue and aqua are colors in the other covers, the black goes with the fencing and the terra cotta of course goes with several of my flower pots.

I also picked up 4 tall shepards hooks. One for each corner of the patio. Once I get one more string of lights, I will be able to string them around 3 sides of the patio and have them run along the front walkway as well.

I think I'm finally settling into just the look I want outside! Now, if I could only get the inside done!

I aired out the bed comforter and sewed the top part of mother in laws new sun dress...

Out of shape I emphasize with. I feel good, 15min the garden remind me I am not active enough.

Today, John and I took the hounds to the Vet for nail clippings. I shake to much anymore. Side effect of med.

Came home, felt like I have been. up 24hrs. Forced my self up to clear off table end table and coffee table, art table. They were not to bad and only took about 20min total, including a damp wipe down.

Done now, till later, tonight or tomorrow I need to iron 2 of Johns Chef jackets. At the moment I don't know how to accomplish that.

And ya know, all I really want to do is run, I want to be able to run for 1/2 an hour.

When I meditate I run, feels so good.

For some reason, every day around 3 p.m., I feel utterly exhausted. While I normally avoid napping (it's usually a symptom of worsening depression for me) I've found I have no choice but to give in and lie down.

Yesterday, I awoke around 5:30 and assumed it was A.M. Well, good thing my daughter caught me before I made a pot of coffee!

Today it seems will hold true to form as I am so tired! At least today there is better reason for it. I got 3 loads of wash done, on the line, back off and folded. Still in the basket and waiting to be put away but, done. I also dashed out to the store and picked up another 3 drawer plastic 'dresser' for my linens and towels. While I was there I stopped in the garden center and picked up the other string of lights I need for the patio.

As soon as it's warm enough to safely turn the outside water spigot back on, I'll scrub the pots and pull out the Canna rhizomes I kept and repot them. My indoor garden has produced 3 red and white tulip blossoms for me so far! Outside I have creeping myrtle in bloom, 2 types of crocus (yellow, deep purple, white, and striped) windflowers, anemones and Puschkinia (Lebanon Squill) just starting to bloom.

Just a couple more weeks and I'll be planting the sugar snap peas in the veggie beds! May do some leaf lettuce too. Love the early crops!

Unfortunately, it's true about my social worker. He called that company which supported me before, and they're not interested at all. However, he is going to introduce me to somebody next week, but who knows how it will go?

Hey Myself, Awesome for the gardening coming up soon and all the stuff you have started. It is still too early here, but I love reading about it.

Kudos for the jobs. I think a big calendar and different colored ink is a good idea. I know you got a lot going on all at once, just remember one thing at a time and breathe...

Peter, I am glad your social worker is introducing you to somebody next week. I wish you the best with this. Keep your chin up and remember, think before talking. I am sure it will work out.

Thunderstorms all night last night. No sleep for me as Jasmine was scared. Today it is real windy. I think this means spring is just around the corner. I hope... It usually gets windy when the seasons change here.

Another windy day except today it is snowing too and colder. March winds I guess...

I have two orchids (small ones) blooming that I bought last spring. I can't believe that they made it another year for me. One is white and a lot of blooms. The other is pink and not so many but very pretty.

I have thought about getting a storage unit too. Are they expensive Pitmom? I have so much stuff. I am thinking about taking it to Good Will. It is cool stuff but I don't use it and it takes up so much space. A lot of old glass ware and dishes.

Kudos for your flowers Pitmom. It is nice to have color in the winter. And fragrance.
