I hope you're all ready for the holidays. They're coming anyway, aren't they?!
I still have a couple more things to go out for but I'm not feeling well and don't have the energy to walk to the bus stop.
I have pancreatitis, though not severe. I haven't been able to eat solid foods since Monday. Not eating rests the pancreas so reduce the inflammation. Yesterday I called the doc and they said I could start on oatmeal then move on to low-fat, low-sugar, low-salt foods, nothing white except rice, and the fresher the better. No dairy or fruit for several weeks. Well I tried oatmeal but it made me need Immodium and made my belly hurt more. So, here I am whining and feeling sorry for myeslf. Sorry, but I do feel bad and I feel alone and afraid.
I don't care about missing food or missing holiday food at this point. I just want to feel better.
