Short fuse. Exploded on my daughter.
Saturday, she asked to borrow my truck so she and my grandson could run to the store to pick up toilet paper (after I gave her the money for said toilet paper). I explained that I had 2 huge bags of potting soil on the passenger seat. Long story short...she drove her own car instead.
Today, I see a friend and she gives me 2 bags of coats. I add them to the front seat with the 2 bags of potting soil.
This evening, my daughter comes in from work, I'm on the computer not realizing she drove her bus home. She asks if she can take my truck to run to the store and pick up her meds. Distractedly I say yes. My grandson comes to the front door and asks "What do you want us to do with the bags?"
I explode! She hadn't said anything about him going with her. Now, I have to stop what I'm doing and figure out what to do with the bags of coats and potting soil. So, I'm muttering about it as I haul the stuff out of the truck with her in the drivers seat! She tells me "You need to chill." WRONG THING TO SAY! I tell her to get the f out of my truck. She tells me to stop being a b. I tell her to get the f out of my house! She says I can't throw her out cause she's been paying bills. I tell her I haven't received a dime from her on the rent and Comcast doesn't count.
I'm tired. I'm just so tired.
I have no idea what she does with her paycheck. My Comcast account is a mess. She makes partial payments, late payments...sigh. Sure, she picks up groceries but only half the stuff is what I eat, mostly what she and her son eat. Usually, it's my partner taking me shopping for meats for the month. She buys macaroni and cheese (which I don't eat) other noodle and sauce things (which I don't eat) frozen waffles, pop tarts, hot pockets, (all of which I don't eat).
Last week, I told her it was her turn to pick up canned cat food. My partner and I grabbed 2 cans while out shopping, just in case. Well, good thing we did because she "forgot" and "oh, well". Seriously? While it's true that there is plenty of dry food, we've started feeding canned because the cats are aging and losing their teeth. "Oh, well" doesn't cut it!
This fuse isn't really that short...it's just gotten to the short end. I'm frustrated.
