Woww, youre son seems like a really strong person. Through everything though, he still got the right education which is amazing, especially these days.



OH my gosh :) Bev, im so happy right now its AMAAAZINNG. Christmas went okay. But Tonight just made everything right again. I cant even remember feeling this happy! I went out with some friends and we went to see a comedy. Very Funny movie, which was good. But the ride there, it was all laughs and good times. It just felt soo great to laugh. Then on the way back my friends car broke down!! haha!!! Three of my guy friends were trying to fix it and me and my other friend were just sitting in the car laughing. It was the stupidest reason it broke down, (i forget what lol ) after about 20/30 mins of goofing off they finally got it working... then of course we all joked about it. It was an amazingly funny night. It proved to me alot of things, that i dont need to drink or do drugs, or anything to be happy-- as kidish/grownup/whatever the word is / stupid ( lol ) as that sounds. It was a lot different then what i normally do, and its so much better. I just can't believe how great things are going!:) Im almost scared, i dont know if its because im affraid something will happen to wreck it, or what, but i dont care 'cause at the moment i just feel .... great. : )



I am alil bit upset, cause i put some weight on.
But everyone does i guess around the holidays...

I am so happy for you. You sound joyous. That is a really important emotion--it's one that if you don't feel as a child, you may never be able to feel. So while you were happy with the evening--I'm estatic about your joy.

It sounded like a great evening--and of course I'm really tickled that you were letting yourself feel and found out how much better that is than deadening yourself with alcohol or drugs. It was also a lucky evening because it was such a natural high--they are always the best.

about your concerns that something will wreck how you feel--well they are valid. No one can stay on a natural high all the time. It just doesn't happen. So one of two things will happen. Something can wreck it--and even though it will seem to be other people--it's what you let happen in your mind that wrecks things. The other is that life will gradually (or even pretty fast) go back to a normal. It's supposed to.

The trick is to keep it from going below normal. You do that by using what you learned tonight and working toward being above normal (get alittle happier) day by day. It takes work to put and then keep your life and mind in order. After a while, it becomes natural to do things in the best possible way most of the time. And that's when the work pays off with many happy days and more and more natural highs. You can actually feel things getting better. Its cool.

Did you read both the messages I put up or just the last one. The one before I told you that my husband was hospitalized with pneumonia. He came home late this afternoon and his family came to visit. They are funny, so there was a lot of laughter and we had a good time too.

today was okay, like you said though life doesnt go perfectly.  If everything was perfect; life would be boring.  my mom seems to know exactly how to bring me down, but whatever.......

Awwwwww, i looked at the picture of your dog. She is sooo beautiful! I can't get over how cute she is!

Husband is doing ok now. He's still doing breathing treatments for the pneumonia. He's also on oxygen and it looks like he'll have to stay on oxygen (emphasema). That will be hard for him. He's on the go more than a 16 year old who just got a car.

I'm really enjoying the pup. My first husband was terrible to pets--and I finally refused to allow any. That feeling hung on well after the divorce and so this is my first pet in a lot of years. I'd forgotten how good it feels--and this is even better than anything I remember.

She's a rare breed. I didn't pick her to say I have a rare breed, but because she matches me. She's athletic (I'm not so much any more, but I do more than many people my age). She's fitted to both the hot desert and the cool mountains (I hunt fossils in both environments). The main thing I liked about her was her feet. They are more cat like--that means she is good on rocks--her feet won't get hurt in the types of places I go. A big plus is that the breed is quiet in the house--so am I.

But nothing is ever perfect. She barks at everyone walking by--and I live across from a school, so that's got to change. Also, if I don't work with her a lot and take her all sorts of places to expose her to lots of people and dogs, she could become aggressive with either or both. She will also chase small critters like cats and squirrel--and kill them--so she has to be securely fenced or on a leash or lead all the time.

Everything in life is about trade-offs. You are learning that already. However, a boring life is much better than any other. I know it doesn't seem so, but my first husband was anything but boring--and life with him was very hurtful. My present husband is just about as boring as can be--he's so boring he changes the filters on the furnace, keeps oil in the cars, and checks the antifreeze. We sit around and talk every day--many times telling the same thing we've told before. Sometimes teasing (mostly him teasing me). We have time to do things, because our life isn't always in crisis. We have money to do things, because we don't waste it on alcohol (both of us do drink, but moderately) or are trying to keep up with the Jones. We just take care of what we have and appreciate it, even if it's not the most stylish or brand new.

Yes BORING is GOOD!!!

Im sorry to hear about your husband.  I'm sure as long as he has someone strong like you to depend on; he'll be okay.


Haha yes your dog is adorible!  I want to kidnapp her haha.  Shes so cute.  Has she been bad latly; or is she actually a good dog?


Hmm things lalty; have been pretty good.  Got a 96% on my Latin test; had 5 tests in math and got a 100% on all of them.  I've always been good in math, somehow haha.  Bio i have to pass this next test; or i fail.  I have a 60% exactly... but ive been studying.  Latly, i don tknow, its been werid, ive been studying more in the past couple of days then i ever have haha.


New Years; woww haha.  Fun times <3 . Went to my friends house, cause he had a big party.  Really fun night.  Although, i think from now on im not drinking again when theirs a guy their that likes me, it gets annoying, because it just causes drama. But trust me we didnt do anything; i only see him as a friend, he has yet to understand that.  I hate when people blame doing something because they were drunk, or blah blah.  Yeah its different; but you STILL know what youre doing.  Yes, youre more likely to do things, but still you STILL know what youre doing.  Do you get what im trying to say? ... Thats just my thought on it.  The reason i brought that up was because i come back to school, and their are these group of girls that think they can get drunk off of taking one shot; and they ended up making out with eachother.  They blamed it on being drunk, but yet they were bragging about it like they were proud of it.  Honestly, i think its discusting; dont get me wrong, I have no problem with lesbians, but they're not, they're just... annoying. (( sounds rude; but wowww they are lol ))


Theirs this one guy that likes me; and im getting the feeling that im starting to like him, but hes dated two of my best friends.  Yeah; so im just saying no to that.  The one thing i hate is drama... the one thing i hate more than drama, is people who start it.  So, we're just staying friends. 


But im going out with some friends, i just wanted to make sure i updated to let you know how things were going, and to see how things were going with you.  Update me on your husband so i know how its going, and fill me in on some stories about your puppy:).  I'll love to hear them.
