starting to use wellbutrin

has anyone in this forum ever been prescribed wellbutrin and how are you doing? amazinggraceim

hey grace, I was just prescribed it about 2 months ago. Two times a day, umm i think maybe a total of 300mg. So far...i can't sleep at night and sleep most of the day. So I don't know how well it's working. Were you just prescribed it?

my daughter was prescribed it about a month ago after being on zoloft for a year and gaining wait from that. Wellbutrin xl was not for her, she became very irritatable and short tempered with little patience. She took it in the moring so I don't relly think her sleep was effeted. She only took it for about 3 weeks, she was also on a very low dose. All meds as we do know effect everyone differently. Her side effects coming off zoloft were the same as yours coming off paxil.

Hi Amazinggraceim,

I've been on Wellbutrin for about 6 months now I think and it has made a big difference. I was on Celexa before and it wasn't working for me. I started to feel more like myself after I started Wellbutrin so out of all the medication I've taken (6 diff one's) I like it the most and honestly I really don't like taking med's. Of course it effects everyone differently but I hope your having a good experience with it as well. The only side effect I'm experincing is feeling disconnected but I'm also on a moodstabalizer Topamax and sleeping pill Imovane. Anyway if you have anymore questions feel free to ask!
