a panic attack. I'm constantly nervous and it's really upsetting. Ive tried everything to calm myself down (writing, exercise, listen to music, etc) but I don't think anything has helped. My palms are always sweating, and my heart is always in my throat. It's really upsetting and nervwracking right now.

If you have no history of depression or anxiety, and are not going through stressful life events, meaning ... there's no explanation for this ... I suggest you start by having your thyroid function checked out.

I'm currently suffering from mild depression and social anxiety. My older sister is also bipolar and my mom has depression as well. So there's history right there.

C-Blue,
If that's the case, it sounds like you should certainly go see your doctor. It's very probable you need some help with this, probably medication, nothing wrong with that; happens to all of us from time to time. Hope you won't put this off and suffer unnecessarily.
Best of luck to you, keep us posted.
