Zoloft and weight gain continued

Ugh, I am sorry to hear about your weight. It is so frustrating, my weight does not move either. No matter what I do. I stopped working out so hard b/c if I don't work out at all my body is the same. So what'sthe point?? My doctor told me it makes you gain weight, after I had been on it and had gained 20 lbs, when I was trying to think of every reason I was gaining during those first few months. I went crazy try differnt diets and changin gup my workouts. I think i read in one of these posts that sometimes it takes just over a year, so hopefully your weight loss is just around the corner. I get so jealous of the people who just start to lose it without doing anything different. I will be a happy, happy person if i ever see that day.... good luck with the doctor!

I was reading everyone's responses and I seem to have gained weight from Prozac. Has anyone else heard of that? My weight was fine and suddenly in the last couple of months it went up. I just went off Prozac about 10 days ago. I haven't gained more weight. I lost 2 pounds right away. I'm normally a very healthy eater and I work out about 90 minutes a day. I start taking spinning classes next Monday, 5 days a week. It helped when I did that last year too. I'm not normally the type to gain weight very easily, and this same thing happened when I was on Paxil last year too. Within a month I had lost the extra weight. Does this sound familiar to anyone else or am I imagining things? I'm also keeping a food diary. Trying to stay within 1700 calories a day. I am 5'6", 36 years old and my normal weight is around 115. Right now I'm 122. And like I said those last 7 pounds came on SUDDENLY. eek.
