Physical Side Effects from Depression

What physical side effects have you all had from your depression? I have had diarrhea (for a year and a half now!), stomach pains, insomnia, headaches, heart palpitations, anxiety, shakey hands, my eyes sometimes cannot focus because it feels like everything is moving too fast in front of them, wieght gain & wieght loss...the mail side effect I have had it is the diarrhea, anyone have this constantly due to your depression?  sad

Hi! I've had some strange side effects from my most serious depressions.  My first clinical depression .. I was so aware of my internal body ... I could hear my eyes blink.  Maybe it was just congestion or something but it was really scary.   I have also gotten nerve numbness in my right arm ... when I am very depressed and/or sad.

I used to lose weight with my depressions, now I gain.  Neither is good (grass is always greener ....). 

I haven't had diarrhea though due to depression.  I can imagine though that it's probably all that anxiety and stress due to the depression messing up with your system .. in this case your stomach.

I feel sick a lot with anxiety and depression and get headaches. It affects my bowels too as I have mild ulcerative colitis.

My appetite can be affected sometimes too
