I have tried so many antidepressants and I cant take them because of the side effects i get. I did take one called imipramine, (sp), and it did work. My friend is on wellbutrin and i wanted to know if anyone has tried it and what side effects if any? I dont know if I should try it.

I have not used Wellbutrin but have been on the Imipramine. I did not do well on Imipramine but I am wondering if it worked for you are you still on it?
Someone that uses Wellbutrin will be along.

I  am not on the imipramine right now but thought about it. I know it is an older drug but for me it works really well. I heard good things about wellbutrin but i did not know about side effects. I will talk to my Dr soon. I took the imipramine at night and it made me sleep. What side effects did you get?

I took Wellbutrin,and it helped me alot. But,I can not tell you the side effects because I was on 2 other meds at the same time and was not sure which med gave me what side effect.

I've been on wellbutrin for awhile now.. and have no side effects.. even when i first started.  i've had really bad side effects with effexor and prozac, but not with this one.  good luck!

Hey Roses,
Imipramine caused me to break out in a rash all over my body, I just about itched myself raw...............
It may have worked but I had to stop the med before we ever found out.

Hey Roses. If antidepressant meds have not worked for you so far please read the thread here on Rhodiola Rosea and consider giving it a try.
