Thanks everyone for your replies. It really helps. I don't have a surgery date yet because the dr.'s nurse it out of town till monday and she does the scheduling. I'm hoping to get it done the last week of July. And Kitt, you are so right - I am pretty scared. I know it will be an easy enough procedure and I have a good dr. and she has done this many times. You just can't help but worry. Also, this is an unexpected expense and I don't know how much the costs will be between the hospital, dr. bill, anethesiologist, pathology, etc. Even an out patient procedure can be really expensive. And I have about
$1600 left to pay on my deductible before the insurance really kicks in so I know I am going to have to pay all that as well as the first 20% up to $1500. Don't you just get disgusted with health insurance companies? And I have my own policy and the premiums are through the roof. So lots of worries about
surgery and how I will pay for it. I guess after all this is over I am really going to have to pursue gettiing a new job. Had to leave the last one in March because it was too physically exhausting for me and I could'nt stand the people and had the most miserable supervisor. She disliked me so much she gave me a bad review even though I was really doing a pretty good job. She wouldn't let me sit for one minute and had me doing so much heavy lifting. I had no choice but to leave. Well that's my story for now. Will keep posting.
