Good work Kitt!

Well, as some of you already know, I have this fabulous new piano teacher, who teaches me exactly what I want to learn. I never even imagined that something like that was possible :-).

And in the last month I've mastered cooking (well, the more basic things)!

Edit: Karen, I totally overlooked your post :). I hope you enjoy the walk today! I am also making plans to do a 4-5 hour cycling trip Saturday morning. I want to start when it is still dark, and try to catch a herd of deer in the field. I hope I can push myself to do so Saturday.

I am going to Paris on Saturday for 3 days, we are going for my boyfriends birthday & we are going to the arc de triomphe horse racing on Sunday & then sightseeing the rest of the weekend, I am really looking forward to it

Hubby washed my car cool

 

Dog decided she wants her own pillow so we had a pillow fight shocked

CSI is on TV tonight  idea

 

I bought my 1st 2 Christmas Presents.  Chrismas is going to be cut back this year but I will still get out the big tree.  smhair

 

Share the good and let go of some of the not so good.

Today,

I signed up to another computer course today, this one more 12 more hours than what I'm used to, but absolutely freeeee!!!
Also completed the computer course I've been doing today, and get the results of my final live assignment next week, which determines if I've passed the whole course.

Also my volunteer work is going good, even after having time off for like 5 weeks, they've welcomed me back with open loving arms, and found me plenty to do. Including organising and leading my own presentation!

Pie and peas supper at my social group tomorrow, which I'm looking forward to.

Oh, also, not one speck of dust in my living room right now:)

Kitt, some things in your good stuff list has made me laugh, thankies sweetie *hugs*.

I also found my 'A' key for my laptop again today, and found my super duper glue. So, I will soon have a proper A key again, rather than just an empty void where it should be:D

You are doing super.  That is splendid you finished your class.   I love to do my nursing CEUs online. 

I am so proud of you for getting out there and volunteering.

I have to do some Halloween stuff today yet...........cackle cackle.

Hey all we are loosing sight of the good things.............time to reset our thinking to include the good in our life.

I have my wonderful grandchildren. turn

My sister is doing fairly well in the hospital right now.  She has a goal of getting home to North Dakota for Thanksgiving. After over 90 days being in MN this would be such a blessing for her.  I am so excited that she may make it.

Life is good if you look for your good stuff and celebrate each little thing.

I come here and feel so at home with all of you.  Thank you for all that each of you give to me and to the other members.

I have been working on Christmas wreaths most of the day. I am half way through my first order of 20 wreaths (or more). They are a contribution to the local animal shelter. I am sore, but feel good from what I am doing.

OK, let's all share..............if we want to get through to the other side of depression we must look at the good in our lives.

I went shopping today and got the bargan of the day, a brand new sweat shirt for $2.45..........wow.

All 3 of my watches batteries went dead this past week.  I took them to the jewelers and they will be ready tomorrow.  They could tell I was stressing over not having a watch.............they gave me a loaner.  How nice is that. And it runs too.

There are good people all around us.  Just look for the good in others.

I had a cup of decaf coffee, brewed fresh, I hadn't had coffee for a while, so the smell was heavenly. I think I'm going to have another cup! Also yesterday after my nursing orientation, I got myself a hot fudge sundae from McDonalds. Oh, those little things that make me crack a smile...
