i have been on wellbutrin for the past 8 months. my doctor has suggested that i go off wellbutrin for a month (i need to get a blood test re-checked and he thinks that the wellbutrin is messing with my enzyme readings). anyway, he put my on lexapro and i am EXHAUSTED. i am so groggy and tired all the time--is this normal?

Patients taking Lexapro typically have mild to moderate side effects which tend to go away with continued treatment.

So the answer to your question, yes Lexapro can cause your sx.

I was in lexapro for a short while, it did help with depression, but i do remember feeling kinda sluggsih. Other than that i had know problem with it. I dont know if that helps any blush

thanks for the responses! my doctor said it can make people sluggish--she suggested i take it at night--so we will see!!
