My husband just went to a pharmachiatrist and was given a two-week sample of Lexipro. He has a follow-up in two weeks and the doctor is going to consult with his psychotherapist to see if this is the right medication or not. Is it normal for doctor's to give patients anti-depressant samples? We're currently separated and he had a hard time even telling me that she gave him an anti-depressant. There's no question he is depressed. He can barely
open up to me right now and the longer we're apart, the more distant and cool he's gotten. His eyes look dull and lifeless too. Will this anti-depressant help him think more objectively clearly? He's so negative about
everything! I'm ready to give up hope.
