My husband just began taking Lexapro.  He has only been on it a week but I noticed today that his eyes look different.  I don't think a week is long enough for the lexapro to have any effect (time will tell), but his lids look heavy and lifeless.  It's so hard to see because he just simply looks and acts differently.  He was diagnosed with dysthemic disorder but I think is also suffering from major depression.  Is it normal for his eyes to appear different?

I looked up some medical articles considering Lexapro. Sleepiness and insomnia are among the often occurring side-effects. They both can cause his eyes to look different. When you are tired your eyes become harder to hold open, and dull. I don't know whether your husband eyes are looking similar to (really) tired ones.
The advice they give in the articles is to continue taking Lexapro, but visit a doctor as well. I agree, since the doctor can tell you best what is going on.
